Logbook:

 

November 25th

 

The CAD team, Hareshan, and Rachel met to work on the project. Built acetabular cap and acetabular ball. Progress was made on the femoral stem. Worked from 3:30 - 6:00

 

November 26th

 

Online text: Planned when to do team interviews. Also, brainstormed new ideas for design

 

November 28th

 

The whole team met to begin work on the poster and finalize CAD and computer programs. Finishing stem and worked on initial parts of assembly design. The computer team started to put their programs together. The combined team planned a schedule for working on the poster and final designs. 

Worked from 5:45-7:45. 

 

November 29th

 

Divided up work for the formatting of the poster. Decided that Rachel would do the diagnosis, Hareshan would talk about the specific design, Negar would discuss Materials, and Nathan would wrap up with surgical fixation.

November 30th

 

Online meeting, we chose a name for design: Osoid Implant.

Also, final images of the assembly were shared.

 

 

 

December 2nd

 

Hareshan, Rachel, and Negar met in HSL to finish the poster. Editing, adding images, organizing pieces and finalizing sources. Worked from 3:45 - 5:45.

    Nathan joined at 5:45, he previously alerted the group that he had a lab, to join in the discussion about presentation.

Divided up who is going to talk about which parts of the project based on areas of expertise.

    Rachel left at 6 to attend a tutorial.
